Speed Week 2014

ATS Staff Engineer Sal Torre is accompanying the Ohio State University CAR (Center for Automotive Research) and Venturi Automotive personnel to attempt another run at the Land Speed Record for electric vehicles at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

ATS has been participating with the OSU team since 2005 and has been instrumental for the 4 domestic and international land speed records held by the Buckeye Bullet Electric Streamliners.

The VBB3 powertrain includes four REMY HVH250 motors controlled by four PML-7-900 inverters achieving 330 Nm / 330 kW (440HP) per motor/inverter at 9940 RPM
