Sales/Service Engineer

Job Description:

Sales and Field Service Support for ATS products

  • Support sales efforts with existing customers, identifying and assessing current and future requirements
  • Identify and contact potential customers
  • Generate technical presentations demonstrating how ATS products and services can benefit and meet customer needs
  • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other related events
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the ATS product line
  • Provide on-site diagnostic and troubleshooting support for customers
  • Travel nationally and internationally as required to perform sales or service calls

Qualifications

Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field from an accredited university or technical school

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to resolve problems, think analytically and communicate professionally in high pressure, time sensitive, customer environments
  • Must be capable of multi-tasking, setting priorities and scheduling work activities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Ability to work with electrical test equipment, hand tools and lift loads up to 50lbs
  • Ability to travel both nationally and internationally on short notice.

Hardware Design Engineer - Propulsion : Fort Myers, Florida

Job Description:

To provide Application and Research Engineering for IGBT Propulsion Systems and related sub-systems for Locomotives

  • Develop performance specifications and performance calculations for Locomotive Propulsion Systems
  • Lead the development of the electrical design and performance testing of new Locomotive Propulsion Systems.
  • Coordinate resolution of field problems associated with reliability and performance of Locomotive Propulsion Systems
  • Define and document Scope of Work for projects
  • Define and document system bills of materials
  • Help coordinate/initiate project kick-off meetings
  • Monitor project throughout design, manufacture, commissioning and operation

Qualifications

  • BS Degree (Electrical Engineering)
  • 4 years’ experience in Locomotive Propulsion systems design
  • Ability to develop and present technical papers to small and medium size groups
  • Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
  • Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
  • Some travel will be required

Hardware Design Engineer - Power Conversion : Fort Myers, Florida

Job Description:

To provide Application and Research Engineering for Power Conversion Products for Locomotives and Hybrid Vehicles

  • Develop performance specifications for Power Conversion devices
  • Lead the development of the electrical design and performance testing of new Power Conversion Products.
  • Coordinate resolution of field problems associated with reliability and performance of Power Conversion Products
  • Define and document Scope of Work for projects
  • Define and document system bills of materials
  • Help coordinate/initiate project kick-off meetings
  • Monitor project throughout design, manufacture, commissioning and operation

Qualifications

  • BS Degree (Electrical Engineering)
  • 4 years’ experience in Power Conversion Products
  • Must be comfortable working with High Power Designs (3300V 1200A IGBT’s)
  • Ability to develop and present technical papers to small and medium size groups
  • Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
  • Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
  • Some travel will be required
