Norfolk Southern Battery Locomotive
Norfolk Southern unveils electric locomotive (AP:ALTOONA, Pa.) Rail hauler Norfolk Southern Corp. on Monday unveiled a prototype locomotive that runs on rechargeable batteries. American Traction Systems designed and manufactured the DC propulsion system for this zero emission locomotive.

Buckeye Bullet sets New World Record
The OSU Buckeye Bullet sets the new World Land Speed Record for hydrogen streamliners at 300.992 mph (484.400 kph) smashing the previous record of 132.378 mph. Saminco/ATS designed and manufactures the inverter that powers the propulsion system on this advanced high performance vehicle.
