Introducing the HERMES 1,100 VDC Traction Inverter
The ATS HERMES Inverter is designed to operate PM Traction Motors from a 1,100 VDC common Bus.. Deliveries commenced in January of 2020 and are being built to order for advance research programs operating at higher battery voltages.. This field-oriented control traction inverter has. advanced features such as DPWM, Physics models of the motor (no lookup tables), breakdown torque operation, and automatic variable switching frequency to name a few.
